Privacy & cookies
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This notice explains how AE Health and Fitness, also known as Manev Fitness, uses personal information on aehealthandfitness.com. It covers this website and its enquiry and calorie calculator forms. Information about any subsequent coaching or therapy records will be provided when arranging those services.
Who is responsible for your information?
AE Health and Fitness is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Contact us at info.aehealthandfitness@gmail.com, telephone +44 7456 506824, or 17 Brington Place, Dundee DD4 7QF, United Kingdom.
Enquiries and bookings
When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, optional telephone number and message you enter. We use them to reply, discuss services and arrange bookings. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or to perform a contract. We also have a legitimate interest in handling general enquiries and protecting our website against abuse. You do not have to send an enquiry to browse the site; without contact details we cannot reply.
Please do not send medical records or detailed health information through the general enquiry form. Contact us first to discuss a suitable way to share information needed for training or rehabilitation.
Calorie calculator
The calculator uses the sex, age, height, weight, activity level and goal you enter to estimate daily calories in your browser. Entering values alone does not submit them. When you choose to email results, the form sends these inputs, your email address and the calculated result to our website server. Results are emailed to you, and a copy of the submission is emailed to AE Health and Fitness.
We ask for your explicit consent before this submission because these details can reveal health-related information. We use them to provide your requested calculation and respond to related questions. This consent does not sign you up for marketing. You can decline by not submitting, or withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. The calculator provides an estimate, not a medical assessment.
Website operation and service providers
Our hosting and email providers process information needed to run the website and deliver messages. Enquiries and calculator submissions are delivered to our Gmail inbox. Technical information, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and request times, may be processed in hosting access and security logs to deliver and protect the website. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable service for this processing.
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to download those fonts, which discloses technical connection information such as your IP address. Google Maps is provided as an external link, rather than an automatically loaded embedded map. Social media links also open external services only when followed. Those services have their own privacy notices.
We do not sell your enquiry or calculator information. We share it with providers where needed to deliver these services, and with authorities or advisers where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. Google services may process data outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is involved, applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards are required. Contact us for information about the providers and transfer safeguards relevant to your information. Read Google's privacy policy for its processing.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry messages and calculator emails only for as long as needed to answer your request and manage any resulting service, complaint or legal obligation. Relevant criteria include whether an enquiry is still active, whether you become a client, and whether records are needed for accounting or legal claims. Copies may remain in email backups until those backups expire. Ask us about deletion or the retention period applicable to your request using the contact details above. Optional website cookie durations and our privacy preference expiry are described below.
Cookies and your choices
Optional analytics and advertising services are off until you choose to enable them. Rejecting them does not prevent you from browsing, sending an enquiry or using the calculator. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choices or withdraw consent. When you save a change, the page reloads to apply it. Optional tracking stays off on the calorie calculator, rehabilitation and privacy pages even if you previously accepted it elsewhere.
| Category | Purpose and duration |
|---|---|
| Essential preferences | The local storage entry ae-cookie-choice-v1 records your choices and their date in this browser. We stop using the choice after 180 days and ask again. You can remove it sooner through browser settings. Admin sign-in may use a PHP session cookie, separate from ordinary public browsing. |
| Analytics — optional | With consent, Google Analytics measures visits and website use, including page, device and approximate location information. Cookies named _ga and _ga_* may last up to two years, subject to browser limits and Google's configuration. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in our configuration. |
| Advertising measurement — optional | With consent, Google Ads measures successful enquiries attributed to adverts. Cookies such as _gcl_au or _gcl_aw may last about 90 days. We do not include form names, emails, telephone numbers, messages or calculator values in conversion events. Advertising personalisation is disabled in our configuration. |
Your preference applies to this browser. Clearing browser storage or using another device may require a new choice. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking and removes matching first-party tracking cookies where the website can access them; it does not automatically erase data already held by Google. You can also manage cookies in your browser and contact us about data rights.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, restriction of processing, or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact us using the details above. We may need to verify your identity and normally respond within one month; some requests are subject to legal exceptions or permitted extensions.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or telephone 0303 123 1113.
Updates
We update this notice when the website or our use of information changes. The date at the top identifies this version.
